Hi there. I’m Melissa, the creator behind Red Rock Chaos, and I wanted to take a moment to share a little about who I am and how this chaotic, creative corner of the internet came to be.
Life has thrown me more curveballs than I ever expected. I lost my husband, took on a second job to handle the rising cost of healthcare, and like so many parents out there, I have been doing my best to rebuild life piece by piece. Through everything, one truth kept showing up. Chaos is inevitable, but what you create from it is your choice.
For me, creativity became the thing that helped me breathe again. Between work, raising my kids, and holding the house together, I needed an outlet that reminded me I was more than the stress, more than the to-do list, and more than the hard moments. I needed something that felt like me.
So I started designing shirts, mugs, stickers, and anything else that could hold a little humor or honesty. What began as a late-night passion turned into Red Rock Chaos, a brand built on the idea that life can be overwhelming and still be beautiful. That chaos can be exhausting and still be inspiring. That you can lose so much, and still create something new.
This work is personal to me. It is a creative outlet, a steady reminder of resilience, and a message to my kids that you can build something meaningful no matter what life looks like. Every design has a little piece of my humor, my heart, and my journey in it.
